Averda launches PROSHRED service in Qatar

Already a regional leader in the waste management industry, Averda added an additional environmental and security service with the launch of PROSHRED in Qatar, in September, 2011. PROSHRED, as part of Professional Shredding Corporation (PSC) (a subsidiary of Redishred Capital Corp), offers on-site confidential document shredding services.

The launch of PROSHRED in Qatar further enhances Averda’s extensive portfolio of environmental management solutions, by offering companies the security of knowing that paperwork, electronic and other materials of a confidential nature will be securely disposed of with speed, efficiency and in an environmentally friendly manner. When using PROSHRED services, confidential documents and materials are entered into a touch-less system; once deposited into the locked bin, they are untouched until after they have been shredded. The innovative processing vehicle is not only able to shred the entire box of documents without opening it, but can also shred any non-paper material that may be included within (for example, metal paperclips or plastic binders). The entire process is performed on-site at the customer’s premises, with a Certificate of Destruction given for every shredding service.

All shredded paper is then recycled, with an annual environmental certificate provided.

Averda will launch PROSHRED in additional Middle Eastern markets in the future.
