Audi launches approved used car locator in the Middle East
Audi is making it even easier to purchase an approved used car from its model range in the Middle East, with the November launch of its new web-based Audi Approved Vehicle locator for Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and the UAE.
The online locator is developed on a new platform that can be accessed from www.audiapproved.com and is integrated within the dealer and Audi Middle East websites. It offers a premium search experience and detailed information on cars available in stock, in both Arabic and English languages.
All vehicles on the Audi Approved Vehicle locator have prices and specification details including interior and exterior imagery. The site boosts over 4,000 vehicle images and allows visitors to select specific model searches, as well as choosing the currency. Other options include e-mail a friend or locate a dealer, with maps, directions and opening times of Audi Approved dealerships across the region.
“The new Audi Approved Vehicle Locator is the best and most convenient way for our existing and prospective customers to find an official pre-owned Audi”, said Jeff Mannering, Managing Director Audi Middle East. “We developed the platform in line with our overall strategy to delight our customers and are confident it will be a great success.”
All Audi Approved pre-owned models are put through a rigorous testing program by trained Audi engineers called Audi Approved:plus, which includes 110 thorough multi-point checks. The car undergoes mechanical, bodywork, interior and electrical inspections, as well as a full road-test. Only after passing all this does the car make the grade as Audi Approved.
If any of the multi-point checks highlights any irregularities, the vehicle is reconditioned with Audi Genuine Parts, before it reaches the forecourt. In addition, as part of the Audi Approved:plus program, customers benefit from a minimum 12 month warranty and 24-hour Audi Roadside Assistance.
Jeff Mannering added; “The pre-owned car industry is a growing business in the Middle East, as customers are on the look-out for a good deal, but do not want to compromise on quality. Audi used car sales have increased by 51 percent over 2010. We currently have a large number of customers looking for quality approved used cars with full service history and we are eager to increase the number of cars on offer.”
