AUC Holds the MCM Summit on Youth Based Solutions for Egypt’s Challenges

The student-run Model of the Council of Ministers (MCM) organization at The American University in Cairo (AUC) will hold the closing ceremony of the MCM summit that will be on youth based solutions for Egypt’s challenges. The three-day event will discuss the vision of AUC students as well as Egyptian university students regarding Egypt’s 2030 sustainable development plan.  The closing ceremony will include student presentations for the best project in each of the four fields of education, Energy, Environment and Economy. A recommendation booklet will be published in print and online including all work done by participating students.

The MCM summit will be attended by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, minister of higher education and scientific research; Hala El Said, minister of planning, monitoring and administrative reform; Francis Ricciardone, AUC president; Ashraf Hatem, AUC counsellor and Egyptian university presidents.
