ART Rotana Amwaj Islands, the luxury hotel located in the heart of Amwaj, has received global recognition at the International Hotel and Property Awards 2017 after the hotel’s designers – Ethospace – were shortlisted in the ‘Hotel Over 200 Room’ category for their superior interior design work on the ART Rotana Hotel.

Ethospace, the Singapore-based design agency, was commissioned by the Owner of the hotel, Mr. Saud Kanoo, to design the ocean front ART Rotana property, gaining inspiration from the Kingdom’s rich history. ART Rotana exhumes a modernity and finesse that embrace the local culture. The design embraces the desert elements of water, sand, and wind, in the context of a rich Arabian heritage and warm hospitality, inviting guests to unwind and relax as if they are coming from a long travel across the desert.

“We are truly honored that ART Rotana is on the shortlist of such an auspicious international award. Under the guidance of the hotel’s owner, Ethospace have worked tirelessly to perfect the interior of the hotel, and have created a truly outstanding environment and enticing atmosphere which not only reflects the Arabian hospitality but also relaxes our visitors and enhances our guests’ experience”, stated Mr. Lilian Roger, General Manager of ART Rotana Amwaj Islands.

The International Hotel & Property Awards are a prestigious event, which provides a platform for designers from across the globe to showcase their work and gain recognition.
