ART Rotana hosts Sudeep Deshpande as first artist of the year

ART Rotana, the luxury five-star hotel in the heart of Amwaj Islands, kicks off the New Year with Sudeep Deshpande as their latest artist to be featured under its ‘Seasons of ART’ initiative which aims to nurture the local arts community and provide artists with a platform to exhibit their works.

Following a number of artists featured at the hotel, Bahrain-based artist Sudeep Deshpande focuses on abstract paintings that express various emotions and thoughts on a canvas.

“Primarily abstract in nature, my works speak of emotions, relationships and thoughts that prevail and coexist without a condition of being expressed in the regular way,” commented Sudeep Deshpande. “I am extremely honoured that ART Rotana chose to feature my work and add me to the list of artists under this initiative.” He further added.

According to Mr. Lillian Roger, General Manager at ART Rotana,“ART Rotana introduced this initiative as a means to stimulate the local arts scene and help nurture local artists by providing them the opportunity to reach a wider audience. We are extremely proud of the results witnessed so far and aim to continue to support the local talent through this ambitious initiative.”

The ‘Seasons of ART’ initiative forms part of the Hotel’s mission to engage with the local arts community and establish the hotel as a Hub for artists and arts enthusiasts alike.
