Celebrate Thai New Year and Baisakhi Festival at Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa

Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, located in the heart of the ancient cultural district and diplomatic enclosure of Dubai, joins the Asian and Indian communities in Dubai as they observe the Baisakhi Festival and Songkran (Thai New Year) and invites them to celebrate it at two of its finest restaurants, Mumtaz Mahal and Silk Route.

Silk Route Restaurant will host Songkran which is Thailand’s New Year from 13^th to 16^th April. The outlet’s specialty Chef and his team will prepare an assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian Thai cuisine from traditional Thai recipes such as golden fried homemade vegetable spring roll, stir fried beef with oyster sauce, chicken in yellow curry sauce, stir fried mixed vegetables, steamed fish with lemon sauce, stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, roasted duck with green vegetable, sour prawn curry and more. To complete the meal diners can enjoy the delicious desserts such as sticky rice with mango or coconut custard.

The Thai New Year food promotion is available for lunch from 12noon to 3pm (Saturday to Thursday) and dinner from 6:30pm to 12:00 midnight (Saturday to Friday).

The Baisakhi Festival, happening from 13^th to 22^nd April, will feature the flavours of Pubjab. Celebrated in North India particularly in Punjab and Haryana, the Baisakhi Festival is notable for its dining festivities. During the festivities, Mumtaz Mahal, the award-winning Indian Restaurant will offer an assortment of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes prepared by Chef Thulu Babu and his team.

Indulge in jhinga Punjabi, machli Amritsari, tangdi Jhalandri, Patiala saag gosht, nimbu khire da salad, aloo chat, chana chat, paneer tikka Lahori, sarson ka sag, Shimla mirchi masaledar, kadi pakori, motia pulao, dhai bala, baingan ka bharta and dhaba dal fry along with a wide range of rotis. Enjoy your meal while listening to the live Punjabi and Hindi songs performed by the hotel’s in-house band.
