Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer at the hotel apartment was also present to gain invaluable market feedback and to interact with existing and potential partners to understand their needs to serve them better.
Commenting on the successful conclusion, Moussa El Hayek, Chief Operating Officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence, said: “The mid-market hotel segment is in a period of significant evolution and opportunity. The city is attracting tourists from markets such as India, China, Russia and Africa. Our aim to participate in this exhibition was to actively pursue new markets and strengthen our ties with existing partners and stakeholders who are helping us with sincere efforts in promoting and enhancing our property offerings to suit the demands of the discerning travelers.”
The team noticed a growth in the trend which has been observed over the years, that travelers, mostly millennials are more budget-conscious and with limited disposable incomes. They are willing to spend their money on unique and delightful experiences rather than on materialistic things. They are expecting quality and it not necessarily means luxury. They are looking at more functional aspects during their stay at the hotel such as high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. The properties in the mid-market segment in Dubai such as Al Bustan Centre & Residence proved to be quite popular for focusing on providing facilities that are considered essential for the millennial traveler.
The 25th edition of Arabian Travel Market 2018, the leading travel and trade exhibition in the Middle East, was held at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre from 22nd to 25th April 2018.
