alizz islamic bank stands united in the fight against cancer

alizz Islamic bank family proudly stood together in the fight against cancer by participating in the 10th Oman Cancer Association (OCA) 2KM Walkathon. An overwhelming number of staff came together to the Qurum Natural Park with their families to join thousands of other walkers in the ‘Each Step Can Change a Life’ campaign to raise awareness and funds for cancer prevention and research. 

Mr. Saif Al Yarubi, Chief Financial Officer at alizz islamic bank, led the two kilometre walk as part of the campaign ‘#alizzcares’ that celebrates the bank’s five main values of community, respect, pride, recognition and relationships. Al Yarubi said, “It was an inspiration to unite us an organisation to remember those we have lost, celebrate those who have survived and encourage those that are still fighting cancer. Cancer is a serious living threat in our community and our bank is passionate about community engagement honoring such non-profits as OCA.”
