Aldar Completes Repton School on Reem Island

Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi’s leading listed property development, investment and management company, announces that it has completed the Repton School project and has handed the asset over to the operator EKI ahead of the commencement of the 2017/18 academic year.

Aldar was the developer of the project which consists of two main buildings – one focused on teaching, and the other on sports. Occupying a 2.5 hectare plot, the main school building incorporates a basement, ground floor and three further floors. Athletic facilities include tennis courts, a 25m Olympic standard swimming pool and two multi-purpose gyms. The school also boasts a dance theatre. Construction commenced in May 2016 and finished in August 2017.

The school is located within Aldar’s master planned community on Reem Island and in close proximity to the developer’s other projects including Sun & Sky Towers, The Gate & Arc Towers, Meera, and The Bridges.
