Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota hits all the right notes at the Dubai International Jazz Festival

Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota has announced a host of exclusive privileges for its customers, in line with its sponsorship of the 10^th edition of 2012 Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival taking place at Dubai Festival City from February 16 to February 24^. 

This year’s edition will feature popular international artists including James Blunt, Jools Holland James Morrison, Jonathan Butler, Brett Dennen and Spyro Gyra and the multi-talented superstar Jason Mraz. 

Simon Frith Managing Director Al-Futtaim Motors said: “This is Al-Futtaim Motors’ first-ever sponsorship of the Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival although Toyota worldwide has a long history of supporting art and music events. As exclusive distributor of the Toyota brand in the UAE, our sponsorship follows through from that tradition. We are extremely excited to be part of this event which has gained global accolades for being one of the finest musical events of its genre in the region.” 

He added: “In celebration, we are presenting our customers with many exclusive offers during the show including a preview of the much awaited FT86 which is yet to be launched in the UAE. This event has given us a chance to delight our customers in so many ways and make them feel special for being Toyota loyalists.” 

The excitement for Al-Futtaim Motors Toyota customers starts from the moment they step into Dubai Festival City’s parking. The first 100 lucky Toyota customers will be directed to the Toyota Privilege parking lot to be closer to the main entrance. 

Visitors will also be given the unique opportunity to preview the FT86 and have professional photos taken for them next to the car. A professional photo booth will be set at the stand with various music-themed backgrounds and accessories. Visitors will then be given their portraits in a digital and print format. 

To add to the jazz celebration Ali Emara a young soul and rock artist will be performing in between acts at the special SUV Toyota display and to round off the Toyota magnanimity Al-Futtaim Motors will provide visitors a chance to win a Fortuner by filling in their details and dropping them at the display booth. The raffle draw will take place on Sunday February 26th. 

Throughout the festival, the Toyota UAE Facebook page will be giving away two VIP tickets a day for Toyota fans answering a daily quiz. 

The 2012 Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival will introduce its new format celebrating a decade of achievements. Starting up with the first weekend of main gigs (Feb 16th & 17th), it is followed by five nights of the Jazz Garden (Feb 18th – 22nd) and finally ties up with a second weekend of main gigs (Feb 23rd & 24th). The ‘Jazz Garden’ event from Feb 18-22 promises spectacular jazz filled nights with 15 international jazz artists featuring a mix of the finest jazz shows from all around the world.
