Al Bustan Centre and Residence announces key management promotions

Al Bustan Centre and Residence, the popular hotel-apartment among tourists and businessmen in the heart of Dubai, is pleased to announce the promotions of Yasser Moussa to Executive Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development and Liza Ortiz to Director of Human Resources.

The organisational change is aimed at further strengthening the property’s management team to ensure timely and effective delivery of services for the guests’ satisfaction and to increase target revenues for the property.

As a key member of the management team, Mr. Yasser will continue to oversee the operation and execute hotel’s revenue targets and strategic goals, as he leads the Sales and Marketing, Business Development and Revenue Departments, all revenue-generated components of the hotel. His wide experience and history of success for over 17 years will further contribute to the growth of the property. With his vast network with tour operators and travel agencies both locally and internationally and participation in leading international trade and exhibitions regionally and globally, Mr Moussa has developed solid partnership with the trade, travel, and hospitality industries

On his promotion, Yasser stated: “I am absolutely happy about my accomplishments over the past years with Al Bustan Centre & Residence and I am prepared to carry on additional challenges with my new position.”  

Meanwhile, Ms Ortiz will have the primary responsibility in planning, developing and evaluating human resource-related initiatives that support hotel strategic goals. In addition, she will continue to supervise staff and report to the Chief Operating Officer on issues related to the implementation of policies and procedures, recruiting and hiring high-performing employees, performance management, leaning and development, talent assessment and effective employee relationship, including negotiating and administering labor agreements
