ADNOC Distribution Awards Winners of Internal HSE Initiatives for 2013

ADNOC Distribution today honored the winners of its internal health, safety and environment initiatives for 2013 at a special ceremony held in the company’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi in the presence of senior officials of the company.

Launched in 2013, the award was handed to 12 winners and runners-up from among 68 participants. The winners were selected from six working groups encompassing several categories and projects (C-suite executives, as well as technical, operational, commercial, retail, and administrative operations).

A jury panel was appointed to evaluate the submitted projects on the basis of quality, innovation, need and feasibility, ability to improve organizational performance, reputation and positive image, as well as ease of implementation, and scope of expansion and growth.

Speaking at the award ceremony, His Excellency Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO - ADNOC Distribution, said: "Achieving the highest standards of health, safety and environment are among our key priorities. We have come a long way in furthering this goal and we are all proud of our accomplishments so far. The significant number of entries at this year’s HSE event clearly indicates our success in inspiring our employees to endorse high standards of health, safety and environment through marking whole-hearted participation in all internal sustainability initiatives.”
