ADM Holds Health Awareness Event for Visitors of Musaffah Bazar

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), in collaboration with Lifecare Hospital, has held an awareness-raising event for visitors of Musaffah Bazar where public health tips and medical checkups were carried out to them. The event replicates the humanitarian values and principles encapsulated in the initiative of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, declaring 2017 as The Year of Giving.

The Municipality stresses its standing commitment to supporting educative and charitable initiatives meant to motivate the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between community members; which has a great impact on promoting the spirit of giving amongst people.

The Municipality has a strong commitment to supporting all community segments, especially workers who are the backbone and key segment of the community, and offering them such assistance is part of the priorities and strategies of the Municipality. In this regard, medical tests were conducted to workers at Musaffah Bazar, and they were offered solutions to their medical issues, where applicable. They were also educated about the importance of sticking to proper healthy habits, as it would reflect positively on their health and the community.

The Municipality calls on all community members, especially strategic partners in the public and private sector, to engage actively in the educative and charitable initiatives aimed at giving a helping hand to community segments. It stressed that such initiatives form part and parcel of its paramount concerns. The civic body further noted that it would continue efforts to bring happiness to all community members and supporting the awareness and charitable activities.
