Abu Dhabi Digital Authority Signs a Strategic Partnership with Huawei at GITEX Global 2021
The Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) has signed a framework agreement with Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, aimed at leading the digital transformation journey of Abu Dhabi by enabling, supporting, and delivering a digital government that is proactive, personalized, collaborative and secure.
The partnership was established at GITEX Global 2021 and signed by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, Director General of ADDA, and Jiawei Liu, CEO of Huawei UAE, who reiterated their support to government entities in the emirate in their efforts to accelerate digital transformation.
According to the terms of the agreement, ADDA will appoint Huawei as a non-exclusive supplier of a range of technology products and services to various government agencies for a period of three years. Huawei will also provide a range of value-added services, including introducing the Huawei ICT Academy program for public agencies in the emirate, and implementing a joint innovation program.
