Abu Dhabi City Municipality Conducts Medical Tests for Workers at Al Mafraq Industrial

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), in collaboration with LLH Hospital, has launched a charitable initiative targeting workers based at Al Mafraq Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi. During the event, workers were subjected to comprehensive medical screening and counselling to educate them about ways and means of maintaining their health. The move echoes the initiative of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, designating 2017 as The Year of Giving; which showcases the generosity and giving passion of Emiratis.

This initiative underscores the relentless efforts of Abu Dhabi City Municipality to encourage the public to undertake charitable activities and enhance the communication with all community members, especially workers who are a key and active segment of the community. In this regard, the Municipality, in coordination with LLH Hospital, has carried out medical tests for 176 workers at Al Mafraq Industrial Area as a gesture of support from the Municipality, as well as it strategic partners, and a way of saying Thank You to workers.

The Municipality calls on all community segments, especially strategic partners in the public and private sectors, to engage actively in running charitable activities and giving support to all spectrums of the community. Such efforts are bound to have a substantial impact on leveraging the cooperation and promotion of the culture of giving among people.
