A musical collaboration that brings together the best of East and West for an artistic performance like no other, Absolute India Ensemble featuring legendary music composer Pandit Pyarelal Sharma’s memorable songs being rendered by the prolific singer Sonu Nigam and conducted by Kristjan Jarvi (permanent Guest Conductor at London Symphony Orchestra), is set to bring the house down at du World Music Festival, with some of the fastest-selling tickets yet! An alliance of 12 superb artistes, Absolute India Ensemble presents the concert of a lifetime, a not-to-be-missed experience on 15 March at the spectacular Burj Park, Dubai’s most exclusive concert venue.

Absolute India Ensemble promises to be an unforgettable gathering of the original Bollywood and Indian classical music stars from India performing live with western classical music artistes in one single concert in the UAE.

Bridging the gaps between all musical genres, the exciting Absolute India Ensemble line-up features some of the finest names in the Indian sub-continent performing Pandit Pyarelal Sharma’s (a winner of 7 Filmfare Awards and composer of more than 550 Hindi films) memorable songs with the lead taken up by noted Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam, and conducted by Kristjan Jarvi. Other accomplished members of the Absolute India Ensemble include acclaimed violinist and composer Dr. L Subramaniam, Kristjan Jarvi (Permanent Guest Conductor at London Symphony Orchestra), playback singer Kavita Krisnamurthy, musician Pt. Bhavani Shankar, musician Pt. Vijay Ghatey, playback singer Amit Kumar, global musician Amit Chatterjee, Flutist PMK Naveen Kumar, music composer Jatin Pandit, musician Valentine Shipley and many more.

du World Music Festival, brought to you by du Live! in association with Samsung and organised by Sundance Events, is a 10-day festival that began on 7 March 2012. Featuring some of the globe’s most popular music acts and artists, the concerts are held in exclusive venues at the iconic Burj Khalifa.
