The Abdulla Al Ghurair Hub for Digital Teaching and Learning at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is organizing TransformED 2025, a regional summit taking place on September 18–19, 2025, on the AUB campus.

The summit will bring together leaders in higher education, entrepreneurs, administrators, professionals, and students from across the MENA region, with the aim of inspiring meaningful change and innovation in higher education, ensuring the success of Arab youth, and positively impacting society.

This year’s theme—Empowering Learner Experience—will guide two days of transformative conversations on making high-quality educational resources more accessible and affordable, elevating teaching through innovative digital approaches and assessment methods, and aligning higher education with the evolving demands of the workforce.

Keynote speakers will include Dr. Fadlo Khuri, president of the American University of Beirut; Danah Dajani, senior vice president of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation; Cindy Bonfini-Hotlosz, CEO of Centreity; and Hoda Sleilaty Younan, COO and CMO of Microsoft Middle East and Africa.

In addition, TransformED 2025 will feature an industry fair showcasing leading EdTech companies, offering attendees and media an opportunity to explore innovations transforming education.
