“Nissan Al Babtain” the gold sponsor of “Spark Marathon”

Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Babtain Co., the authorized agent of Nissan vehicles in the state of Kuwait was the gold sponsor of Spark Marathon for the second consecutive year. The marathon, which took place on January 14th, 2017, is one of the biggest sporting events of 2017, organized by Spark Athletic Centre and under the patronage of his Excellency Sheikh Al-Humoud Al-Sabah Minister of State for Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Information.
Nissan Al Babtain has always exerted its utmost efforts in partnering with influential local partners, striving to promote awareness on the importance of healthy living. Nissan Al Babtain is thrilled to sponsor Spark Marathon once again in support of integrating sports and fitness into the very fabric of the Kuwaiti society.
The marathon took place in Marina Crescent, Salmiya at 7:30 am. 2,289 people participated and competed in the marathon, which was divided into four categories: 5km, 10km, 21km and 42 km. Winners were awarded with prizes totaling $100,000 in cash.
Mr. Makram Khater, group general manager marketing department Al Babtain Group received an honoring trophy from Mr. Abdul Mohsen Saleh Al-Babtain, the Chief executive officer of Spark gym as an appreciation for sponsoring the event. Nissan Altima, Nissan Maxima and Nissan Patrol were displayed in the Marathon Village for two days.
The sponsorship of Spark Marathon contributes to Nissan Al Babtain's corporate social responsibility initiative to support a healthy and active lifestyle. This is a non-profit event and all the money is going to charity. This sponsorship reinforces Al Babtain's long-standing tradition of contributing to a wide variety of local sporting activities.
