Petro-Canada averaged 146,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day from its operations in North Africa and the Near East in the first quarter of 2003. Libyan production averaged 47,700 barrels per day.
Production from the En Naga development in Libya came on stream in February 2003 and will build to peak production by the end of 2003. Syrian production averaged 96,900 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
