Panasonic, the leading global manufacturer of consumer electronics, has opened a new office in Beirut in a bid to strengthen its presence in the region. The move comes as Panasonic looks to cater to the fast-growing consumer markets in the Levant and Near-East countries.
Commenting on the expansion, Seiji Koyanagi, Managing Director, Panasonic Marketing Middle East said, “Panasonic is gearing up its Middle Eastern operations in response to overwhelmingly positive consumer feedback in this exciting and competitive market. Consumers in the region are becoming more discerning and quality-conscious, and Panasonic is determined to cater to growing demand for high-quality products and appliances by expanding its network of regional offices.”
Panasonic Middle East is keen to establish itself as leader in the development and manufacture of electronics products for a wide range of consumer, business, and industrial needs by following an expansionary region-centric marketing strategy.
“Lebanon, with its diversity, historical richness and recovering economy, is a key market for us in the Middle East region, and we felt it important to establish a recognizable presence there. Our Beirut office will enable us to maintain close touch with our fast-growing consumer market in the country,” said Avo G. Tutunjian, Chief Representative of Panasonic in Lebanon.
“Panasonic is dedicated to understanding and fulfilling consumer needs, as testified by the popularity of our new product ranges. Our presence in Lebanon will streamline our regional operations, and is expected to yield rich dividends in terms of heightened consumer loyalty and brand awareness,” Tutunjian concluded.
