Panasonic is using GITEX 2002 as a platform to highlight its futuristic products such as SD Card products, DVD-RAM, the iris recognition camera for access control systems, the E-seat and the third generation mobile communication system.
Panasonic is presenting a full range of its digital technology-driven products such as Plasma Display Panels, LCD TVs, Digital Still Cameras, Interactive Panaboard, multi-function copiers/fax/printers, GIGA range telephones, Hybrid IP-PBX and new mobile phones.
The new models of high-definition Plasma Display Panel (PDP) TVs incorporate new advancements in Panasonic’s innovative Plasma Reality technology, distinguished by superior images and better contrast and brightness features. The models are part of what has been hailed as the industry’s first high-definition PDPs with 1,024 shades of gradation, signifying a dramatic improvement over present displays, eliminating weaknesses like blotchy picture and lack of clarity during dark scenes.
Panasonic is displaying a new version of the revolutionary Iris Recognition Access Control System, an advanced electronic identification device that permits access by scanning the iris of a person. The new BM-ET500 Iris Recognition Access Control System offers highly accurate and reliable “one glance” authentication and identification, eliminating the need for ID cards and passwords. — (menareport.com)
