The Palestinian industrial sector reported more than $600 million losses in the past two months because of the Israeli closure imposed on the Palestinian Territories, reported Al-Watan newspaper.
The Palestinian ministry of industry announced that the productivity and efficiency of the local factories had declined by 80 percent. The ministry estimated the daily losses of these plants at $3 million. Many of these factories were badly damaged by the Israeli rockets and air strikes. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
