The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) has completed the construction of five Super Mushshak aircraft for the Omani Airforce. The fleet’s delivery is part of a deal that was finalized between the two countries in 2001.
The Mushshak is a lightweight, two to three seat, single-engine, predominantly all metal aircraft with tricycle landing gear. It can operate from any short un-prepared strip and is completely independent of any kind of ground equipment.
The Super Mushshak is a variant upgraded version of Mushshak fitted with a more powerful 260 hp engine, cockpit air-conditioning, electrical instruments, and electric cum manual elevator and rudder trim.
PAC inaugurated the first of its four factories in 1978. Its services include the manufacture of Mushshak aircraft, rebuild services for aircraft, engines and components, providing spare support, structural repairs and major rectification. — (menareport.com)
