Over 3,600 Egyptians complete IT training

Some 3,620 Egyptians from the district of Alexandria have competed a training program in the IT field. The training program was part of the Alexandria - An Electronic City project, aimed at advancing information technology in the region.  

 

Under the program, trainees learned various computer and Internet related subjects, according to Al-Aharm daily. The Alexandria project, conducted under the auspices of the Egyptian Commerce Council, was sponsored by the district of Alexandra as well as the Egyptian Ministries of Communications and Trade. 

 

The goal of the training program was to certify 150,000 Egyptians in IT within the next two years. — (MENA Report)
