The OPEC oil cartel is set to cut production by 1.5 million barrels per day (bpd) but only with cooperation from non-OPEC states, the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s oil minister said Wednesday, November 14.
"OPEC ministers agreed on a cut of 1.5 (million bpd) if they have the cooperation of non-OPEC countries," he said, shortly before the start of a formal meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). — (AFP, Vienna)
