Home furnishing store The One recently announced the expansion of its network with the opening of their fourth store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and confirmed plans for end 2002 openings in Qatar and Kuwait.
Located in Sharjah's largest mall, Sahara Center, the new store occupies approximately 1,500 square meters in a split-level setting. Established in 1995 as a local company with its head office in Dubai, The One has expanded by establishing a regional presence in the Middle East.
Founded eight years ago, The One brings customers Moroccan designs. In the past such themes as classical, modern, traditional and Asian have been incorporated. This showroom opening follows the opening of their Café earlier in September, which complements the Sahara Center's food and beverage outlets available to its shoppers. Located outside the actual showroom, the new café is an entity to itself and is a part of The One's future plans of expanding their restaurant service regionally in the Middle East.
Built at a cost of 400 million Emirati dirhmas in the fast-growing Al-Nahda district of Sharjah, Sahara Center is comprised of approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space in addition to boasting the largest indoor entertainment park in the region. Key anchor tenants include Debenhams, Toys ‘R' Us, Adventureland and Century Cinemas with Marks & Spencer due to open shortly. — (menareport.com)
