The One, the Middle East’s leading home fashion brand, made its mark in Bahrain Monday with the opening of a 2,400 square meters showroom in Al Aali Shopping Complex.

Following successful openings outside the United Arab Emirates in Jordan, Kuwait and Qatar, THE One’s latest showroom incorporates all elements of THE One’s inimitable style from its furniture and accessories through to the gourmet café. Known for its innovation and flair, from breakfast through to supper, THE One café aims to cater to the tastes of all its clientele with favourite dishes through to more experimental styles of cuisine.

“With the opening of our ninth showroom in the region, we look forward to offering Bahraini residents and visitors the opportunity to shop at THE One and experience our unique concept of home furnishing. THE One is not just another furniture store, but a home fashion brand offering everyone an alternative way to furnish the environment where we spend most of our quality time - our homes," said Thomas Lundgren, THE One Founder and Managing Director.

Offering a selection of high fashion furnishings and accessories, shoppers to THE One’s showroom will experience a multitude of colours and textures, always changing with the seasons. Whether a customer is looking for a living, bedroom or dining room set, THE One displays everything from the colonial to the contemporary.

To celebrate the opening of the showroom, THE One will be donating a percentage of the first and second day sales from the showroom and café to the Al Rahma Centre. Established by the Bahrain Association for Mental Retardation, the Centre caters to youths with special needs and aims to provide health, social, psychological, vocational and rehabilitative care to the mentally and physically challenged.

Lundgren added: “We see it as more than a duty to contribute to local charities, we feel it is the very essence of THE One to give back to the communities that help make us a success. We are eager to continue a strong supportive role with Al Rahma Centre in the future and to helping those in need as we do in all the countries in which we open.”
