Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) awarded Tamimah Telecom & Computer Technology (TTCT) a contract to provide audio text services in Oman. TTCT is to operate under the trademark name of AlloOman.
Tamimah is an entrepreneurial company established in 1984 with its main subsidiaries, Tamimah Consultancy Group and Tamimah Telecom & Computer Technology (TTCT) a technology management company specialized in the core technologies of Internet and telecommunications and the home of Oman web directory.
TTCT will introduce Audio Text Services, interactive and/or recorded announcement services for the purpose of information or entertaining telephone callers within the Sultanate of Oman through the facilities of the content provider via physical lines supplied by Omantel through the Public Switched Telephone Network. The audio text services will be accessed from GSM and normal telephone using the pre-paid cards.
TTCT will design, customise, install and support the IVR, SMS. Provide the software systems required for the audio text service, as well as training its engineers for further customization and maintenance of the systems used for the Audio text Service. The project provides many different kinds of business, audio text and entertainment services through the installation of interactive voice recognition (IVR), short message service (SMS) and ultimately automated speech recognition (ASR) software. — (menareport.com)
