Omani market sees growing demand for Acer computing technology

Loay Enterprise, Acer's authorized reseller in Oman since 1984 announced a sales and market share growth for its Acer operations in 2001. Loay Enterprises - enabled Acer to win million dollar contracts from institutions such as the Ministry of Education, Sultan Qaboos University, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities, and the Ministry of Electricity & Water. 

 

Acer achieved a 60 percent overall growth for the year 2001 in the Sultanate. Moreover, due to Loay Enterprises wins in strategic sectors in Oman, sales of Acer servers and corporate desktops more than tripled in the year 2001.
