The Muscat Municipality started implementing the second phase of the social housing project at Al Nahdha city and Al Jufaina village in the wilayat of Al Amerat this week.
According to an official source at the Muscat Municipality, cited by ONA, the first phase of the project included the construction of 120 houses having two bedrooms, a dining hall, office room, two bathrooms and a kitchen with sanitary fittings. Eighty-five per cent of the project is completed and the rest will be finished by May this year.
