Eng. Abdul-Qawi bin Abdullah al-Yafei, director-general of Oman's housing, electricity and water said the Ministry distributed 2,631 housing, 60 commercial and 28 industrial land plots in the region's various wilayats and villages during the first half of this year. According to ONA, he added the Ministry offered bids to set up 180 housing units within the framework of the royal grant to social security categories.
