Oman: Corporate income tax revenues up

Official statistics issued by the Omani Ministry of National Economy show that the total revenues of the government rose to OR 4,627 million in the first eleven months of 2005, up from OR 3,628 million in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 27%.   According to Al-Yaum newspaper, the total expenditures of the Omani government rose to OR 3,506 million in the first eleven months of 2005, up from OR 3,225 million in the same period of the previous year, an increase of 8.7%.

 

The statistics also indicated the total corporate income tax revenues of the government rose to OR 75.7 million in the first eleven months of 2005, up from OR 61.7 million in the same period of the previous year.
