Oman Air and Boeing announce latest 737 order

Oman Air has finalized an order for a sixth Boeing 737-800 jet aircraft. The new plane will be delivered to Oman Air during March 2005 for entry into commercial service in May 2005. 

 

The 1,500th Next-Generation 737 airplane is currently in production with final assembly beginning this week.  

Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman is code-share partner with Gulf Air, Sri Lankan and Swiss International. It operates to international and domestic destinations from Muscat to Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Beirut, Cairo, Chennai, Colombo, Dar Es Salaam, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Khasab, Kochi, Kuwait, Mombassa, Mumbai, Salalah, Trivandrum and Zanzibar. — (menareport.com)
