Oman’s National Detergent Company (NDC) posted a 26 percent net profit increase in the first half of 2002 reaching 402,929 Omani rials. Revenues increased by 4.8 percent during the same period reaching OR 5.5 million, reported the Oman Arab Bank’s Investment Management Group (IMG).
NDC is the largest detergent manufacturer in the Sultanate of Oman. Commercial production commenced in the year 1984 and in a short period of time, the company gained a 50 percent market share of the Sultanate’s detergent market. Starting with powders, NDC now manufactures and markets a wide range of detergents, toilet soaps, dishwashing liquids, shampoos and other cleaning products. — (menareport.com)
