Oman’s 2002 budget allocates $ 7.4 billion expenditures

The Omani Minister of Economy Ahmed Makkei recently stated that the total expenditures for the 2002 state budget are estimated to reach 2.87 billion Omani Rials ($7.4 billion), a two percent increase compared with the budget for 2001, reported Al-Hayat . Total expenditures in 2002 remain stable as compared with the 2001 budget, however investment expenditures grew by OR 23 million compared with 2001, a nine percent increase. — (menareport.com)
