The oil pipeline connecting Iraq and Turkey would be reopened this week, Turkish daily Hurriyet has reported on Thursday. The pipeline, with a projected transporting capacity of 400,000 barrels per day (bpd), would resume pumping Iraqi oil after the reparation work was expected to be finished this week.

Iraq has been exporting about 300,000 bpd through the pipeline to the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, mainly from Kirkuk oil fields in the north.
