Energy Exploration Technologies (NXT) has reported that the Stress Field Detector technology evaluation survey program in Syria has been completed over an area controlled by the Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC).
NXT commenced the survey on March 23, 2004, and completed the twelve survey flights on March 28, 2004. The survey consisted of 5,800 kilometers of survey over 41,760 square kilometers of survey area. At this time, the company is preparing to present its findings to the Ministry and SPC to complete the formal evaluation process.
During the survey operations NXT received exemplary cooperation from all government departments and agencies in Syria. NXT's Piaggio Avanti 180 was the first civilian aircraft granted permission to fly outside of controlled airspace in Syria.
