The number of traders in Gulf bourses is increasing by some 20 percent every year, according to one Saudi financial expert.
Traders in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar are growing at an astounding rate, implied head of the Saudi-based Al Qanon Training Center, Majid Qaroub, according to KUNA.
Qaroub added that the number of companies listed on the bourses of the Gulf area will likely reach 1,000 by 2011.
The Al Qanon Center is currently organizing the first Gulf Money Markets Forum which will focus on presenting the Gulf bourses to investors.
