Nokia to open new office in Algeria

The world leader of mobile communications will open an office in Algiers by the end of 2005. Liberte Algeria reports that Nokia hold 30% share of Algerian market. Nokia has been currently taking part in Alger Telecomp 2005, the 5th international trade fair of telecommunications, in which the Finnish giant has introduced two new models, Nokia 1110 and 1600.

 

In a press conference during the Fair, a representative of the company has said that the telecommunications sector in Algeria is "very dynamic" and with the new office in Algiers they will have the opportunity of being closer to this market.
