Nokia has introduced an easy-to-use mobile phone for voice and text messaging to cater to first time users in low mobile penetration markets in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. The Nokia 2100 is expected to be commercially available during the first quarter of 2003 in the Middle East.

The appeal of the Nokia 2100's design lies in its compact size, ergonomics, user-friendly keymat layout as well as its high quality display screen which supports up to four lines of display with a white backlight for enhanced readability. — (menareport.com)
