The National Motor Company (NMC) has announced the promotion of one of its Bahraini staff to Senior Supervisor as part of its continuing drive to strengthen the process of Bahrainization of its workforce.

Mohammed Hassan Hassan Mahdi Al Tarrah joined NMC in 1997 as a trainee on their annual program. Each summer, around 12 students from the University of Bahrain (UOB) and Bahrain Training Institute (BTI) are accepted by NMC to work in various departments and gain real live work experience.

Mohammed was one of those students offered a full time position from the training scheme and as such started work in the Customer Service Department as Service Advisor. Al-Tarrah emphasized that his promotion was primarily due to the huge investment that NMC’s top management has made in training their staff and in setting up personal development plans for each and every employee.

Founded in 1988, NMC is a Bahraini automotive distributor and represents Honda, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC. NMC is also part of the publicly listed Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company (BCFC), which also owns Bahrain Credit. — (menareport.com)
