Kamoon Inc., software provider of expertise management solutions, announced the acquisition of privately-held software company ActionBase, a provider of project and process execution management software.
The ActionBase product will be incorporated into the Kamoon Connect suite of expertise management solutions, under the product name of Connect Actions. Connect Actions will allow organizations to manage execution across organizational boundaries through "virtual communities" formed around projects, meetings, or any other business activity.
The acquisition expands the Kamoon Connect solution by enabling knowledge workers to tangibly track results, tasks, decisions and action items that naturally flow from the knowledge sharing process. As a forum for sharing knowledge in the context of knowledge worker activity, Connect Actions will greatly improve business execution and efficiency, according to a company press release.
ActionBase was founded in 1998. The company was headquartered in South San Francisco, CA, with development and sales operations in Israel. Its enterprise customers include Avaya, AT&T Wireless, Coca-Cola, EDS, Motorola, and Unilever.
Kamoon is headquartered in Fort Lee, NJ. — (menareport.com)
