ALBAWABA - Rumor has it that the Nintendo Switch 2 was leaked on a Chinese website with photos of the alleged design swarming the internet making the upcoming handheld console trending across social media.
Users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and Reddit in anticipation of what could be the next Nintendo Switch claiming that this could finally be "the real deal."
Nintendo Switch 2 allegedly leaked from Chinese webesite
Take it with a grain of salt but a user on X named "Deck Wizard" claimed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will have:
- Magnetic Joycons
- 12GB RAM (Compared to 4GB on the original Switch)
- 256GB Internal Storage (Compared to 32GB on the original Switch)
- 2x USB C Ports
- A larger 8-inch screen
- New SoCl (Cpu+GPU) by Nvidia
The design in the alleged photos showcases a similar body to its predecessor with rounder corners and a larger screen, but Nintendo fans were hoping for more including better grip support from the joycons instead of resorting to buying third-party grips and controllers. Despite not much changing, the SL/SR buttons might've received a revision.
An unknown source who has not seen the final design of the Switch 2 told VGC that despite not being fully verified, the Reddit images match what the company has told its partners.
