ELGT's subsidiary AWT, announces the appointment of distributors, Watermaker Middle East and Watermaker Asia to promote its Watermaker Technology. Both have exclusive territory to utilize the entire line of the AWT Watermaker solution portfolio.

"We are excited to have two fine companies representing us and our products," says Dan Zimmerman, president of ELGT. "Joe Petruzella and his NETBreeze team have proven effective managing our global marketing effort for the water technology group, recruiting buyers for the Watermaker product portfolio."

Watermaker Middle East and Watermaker Asia joins Lockheed Martin as part of its distribution network. "Petruzella is constantly looking for qualified distributors, and we will announce additional distributors in the following months."

The Watermaker is a technology that captures the humidity from the atmosphere to produce purified drinking water. This system can provide from five gallons per day to over one million gallons per day.

Watermaker is an electronic system that produces clean water without connection to any source of water other than that suspended as vapor in the atmosphere. The ELGT Watermaker technology originated through the issuance and receipt of US Patents in 1981 and 1996, and is further supported through two additional patents pending and copyrights.

The technology produces from five to 10,000 gallons of pure water per day. Large metropolitan solutions can produce up to two million gallons per day, and when installed with an automatic bottling facility, will produce 3.78 million two-liter bottles per day, utilizing only electricity. The systems can be fabricated and installed in 90 to 120 days.

ELGT advised that statistically the amount of water which continuously re-circulates in the Earth's atmosphere is approximately 13,000 trillion cu meter or more than three million trillion gallons or 11.3 million trillion liters.

ELGT has installations currently in Dallas, Texas, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Pakistan. Electric & Gas Technology, Inc. was organized under the laws of the State of Texas on March 18, 1985, to serve as a holding company for several operating subsidiary businesses.

Atmospheric Water Technology, Inc. (AWT), a subsidiary of ELGT, was incorporated in June 1997, with the purpose of focusing on opportunities within the water industry. Other ELGT businesses include Reynolds Equipment Company, which provides a broad line of precision instrumentation to the natural gas industry; Hydel Ltd., a designer and seller of meter sockets and pole line hardware to the electric utility industry; and Logic Metals, Inc., an affiliated manufacturer of precision sheet metal applications. — (menareport.com)
