The new Rolls-Royce Phantom will make its public debut in Dubai at the seventh Middle East International Motor Show on 11 December 2003.
The Middle East has traditionally been a strong market for Rolls-Royce, and this trend looks set to continue with the new Phantom. There has already been strong interest from customers in the region, the company said. Rolls-Royce has said that it intends to sell an average of 1000 cars per year, over the lifecycle of the car. Of these, it is anticipated that around 15 per cent will be sold in the Middle East.
Speaking in the run up to the show, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chairman and CEO, Tony Gott, said: “It is a pleasure to be presenting the Phantom in Dubai to such a loyal and approving audience. Discerning Middle Eastern market customers are attracted by the uncompromising design and engineering principles of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, that are as true and relevant today as they were when the company was founded nearly 100 years ago.”
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is represented in the Gulf region by seven dealerships, located in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah and Riyadh), Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. (menareport.com)
