A total of 3.11 million tons of goods transited via Iran during the first quarter of the current Iranian year (started March 20), say an 82.4 percent rise compared to the similar period of last year.
A report released by the Public Relations Department of Iran's Customs Administration said that goods worth $691.7 million were transited via Iran.
According to the report, Amirabad customs which handled 47.9 percent of the goods transited through the country over the same period ranked first. (menareport.com)
