The Sharjah based Metitio Company recently constructed a specialized water treatment for the Dubai Marmum Dairy Farm, according to Gulf News. The new plant will treat and sterilize wastewater from cowsheds and milking facilities and convert it to water suitable for irrigation on the farm.

By recycling the farm’s water, the new system helps conserve resources in environmentally friendly way, while efficiently utilizing recycled water for other uses.

Marmum Farms have expressed content with their strategic decision to build the wastewater plant. In doing so, they are helping to preserve the environment as well as avoid wasting precious water resources.
