According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper (June 14, 2005), the Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Holding Company has recently contacted the Al-Guthmi Contracting Company to build the Al-Andalus Mall on the crossing between Prince Abdullah Road and Prince Majed Road in Jeddah.
The new mall project, which its area spreads on 200,000 square meters, costs SR 400 million ($106.5 million). The mall offers a total space of 74,500 square meters for rent. In addition to the different stores and oulets, the mall features leisure facilities. Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Yussuf, Managing Director of the Mohammed Al-Habib Real Estate Holding Company, said that the new mall brings new daring ideas for the malls industry in the city.
