The Mukren Trading Group recently announced its new initiative to build a shopping center in Riyadh Al-Sharq Al-Aswat reported. The company announced that it will invest 140 million Saudi riyals ($37.3 million) into its new Al-Ulya mall.
Built on 50,000 square meters of land, Al-Ulya will consist of 182 commercial units including restaurants, cafes, shops and parking facilities. The shopping center is expected to open next November.
There are currently 128 malls operating in the Riyadh area. The Saudi capital drew in more than SR 20 billion ($5.3 billion) of funding into commercial construction over the past year. — (Mena Report)
