Farm machinery manufacturer New Holland has recently dispatched a shipment of 50 tractors to Iraq, out of a total 600 on order. The four-million-euro ($4.14 million) consignment was exported under the United Nations’ oil-for-food program scheme. The company has already sold 200 tractors to Iraq since 1997.

The tractors were manufactured in New Holland’s Brazilian plant. Owned by Britain’s CNH, which is part of the Fiat group, New Holland is the largest producer of farm tractors in Europe and the top manufacturer of hay and forage harvesting equipment in North America. — (menareport.com)
